Quick Tori Facts     Born:Myra Ellen Amos, August 22, 1963 5:53 p.m.(a Leo)     At the age of five, she won a scholarship to the Peabody Conservatory. She went from 1968 until 1974 when her scholarship was not renewed and she was kicked out. Once she was famous she was asked to appear there and she refused.     Cut first album with heavy metal band called Y Kant Tori Read     Her senior year, she was voted Homecoming Queen, Most Likely to Succeed, Most Talented, and Best All-Around.     Tori graduated from Richard Montgomery High School.     Father: Edison Amos, Methodist minister     Mother: Mary Ellen Amos (part Cherokee Indian)     Brother: Mike who is 10 years older     Sister: Marie who is 6 years older     When she was 21 she changed her name to Tori     Her list of Albums include - Y Kant Tori Read, Little Earthquakes, Under the Pink, Boys For Pele, From the Choirgirl Hotel, To Venus and Back, and Strange Little Girls.     After playing a club one night a fan asked her for a ride home. She gave him a ride and he raped her. Her song "Me and a Gun" describes the attack.     Tori founded RAINN(Rape Abuse and Incest International Network). It provides 24 hour assistance to victims of sexual assault. If a victim doesn't know the number for the local shelter or if it is a long distance call, the center connects them and foots the bill.     RAINN has support from other celebrities such as Jennie Garth, Sarah Mclachlan, Jennifer Aniston, and Christina Ricci.
